District 8
District 8 is one of the 33 districts in the organization and covers the East Coast of Florida from Sebastian Inlet to Key West.
 
Sebastian Sail & Power Squadron
Sebastian Inlet Sail & Power Squadron was chartered 8 November 2003 and is the newest chartered squadron of the 13 squadrons which form District 8. We currently provide:  
Membership
The only requirements for membership are a keen interest in boating related activities, an eagerness to meet like minded people and successful completion of an approved boating course.
 
Monthly Meetings

Our monthly membership meetings are held on the fourth (4th) Monday of each month except for December.

Notice - Summer Months

The months of June July and August historically have had low turnouts due to cruises, vacations, snow-birding, and other activities.

That being understood, we still have a small group who like getting together once a month to enjoy each others company. Because we can't accurately predict the attendance, we can't expect special accommodations by restaurants. So what we do is simply pick a place to meet and those who want just show up.
